| 121GW louder beep |

Hello everybody, I've just received today my new EEVblog 121GW DMM, and it is a nice creature! :) I have only one question: is it possible, in any way, to raise the beep volume?. I know this is not implemented in the software, but I really need to do it. I have a bunch of DMMs in the lab, both bank and portable, and when I'm looking through the microscope I always need to use a Fluke (say, the 87 IV), because these are the only ones with a decent beeper. Even my Rigols have a ridiculous beep sound... I love this little beast, so IMHO its a bit louder than others, but not enough, almost for me (specially whith the rest of the equipment turned on...fan noise is terrible, specially in Tek scopes -colour, tube, I mean). TIA for your help, and I send you my best wishes from Madrid, Spain. :-DMM |

You can see the schematic here: https://github.com/tpwrules/121gw-re/blob/master/pdfs/121GW%20EEVBlog%20Circuit%20diagram.pdf Buzzer is listed as ALP05S. Reducing or removing the series resistor might make it louder. |
