16 (14) Bit 250ksps 4Ch data aquisistion with PC
« on: May 15, 2016, 10:03:10 am »
I am looking for a simple and relatively cheap solution to sample blocks of data (a few seconds long) with a C# application (on a Windows PC) for further analysis.
Is there a commercial USB based measurement system with 4 channels, a high resolution (>= 14Bit) and with a good API?

Thanks, but >1000€ is not relatively cheap and I don't need the high sampling rate of a "real" oscilloscope.

The ADALM1000 maybe? (16 bits, but 100KSPS only), around 50€.
Another possible option is the Analog Discovery. (14 bits, 100MSPS), around 250€.
My English can be pretty bad, so suggestions are welcome. ;)

National Instruments have USB devices that might fit your requirements. The API (NI DAQ or DAQmx) is easy and very stable.
However, 250KS/s and 14 bit might be a bit expansive.

From National Instruments with 14 bits there are the USB 6001 that have 20KS/s and the USB 6009 that have 48KS/s. The first for US$189 (http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/212383) and the last US$369 (http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/201987).

The 6002 and 6003 are 16 bits.
