Boonton still exist, it might be worth reaching out to them:
https://boonton.com/about/contact-us
I'm not clear as to exactly why, but some of their equipment appears under various iterations of the main brand name (Boonton, Boonton RFL, RFL, RFL Boonton) and some is branded "Clarke-Hess". Whether this is simple rebranding or one company bought the other, I don't know. If someone knows something about the history of this I'd be curious to learn it.

From what I can find, Boonton Electronics Corporation were never actually based in Boonton New Jersey, some info on the antique radio forums states it was formed by ex Boonton Radio engineers.

Radio Frequency Laboratories (RFL) also still exist, one of a dozen electronics companies from Boonton New Jersey, some of which frequently get confused with the others.

Clarke Hess seem to be still going as well, the 'about' page is very lacking on history, more of an advert for current products, they started a lot later than the others (1969).
