LeCroy 9400 Screen Update Problem?

Hi all,
Just a quick one here. I've been playing with a LeCroy 9400 recently and was wondering something. Every once in a while when I'm looking at a signal, some relay will switch in the device and the screen will pause (aka stop updating). After 2 or 3 seconds, it'll continue it's normal operation.

Is this normal? Is it a known fault? What could be going on? A quick google search didn't turn up anything.

It's just the system re-calibrating for temperature (amongst other variables). Once it is warm, it should do it less and less.
If it doesn't stop re-calibrating after a warm up period, then it may need factory / lab calibration, or there's a aged(?) component,
like one of mine has. It's a good thing :-)

Very cool! I usually don't have it on very long so that could definitely be it. The scope itself does have a few issues (like I can't get the B input button to work...) but now I know nothing is seriously wrong, so that's good!

Yeah, seems to be a hallmark of Lecroy scopes.. my 9374C does also, albeit less so after about 30mins of being on (probably because the room around it has increased by 10 degrees in temperature)
