Old thread but.. Just had this Happen to my SDM3055..

A week or so ago my SMD3055 crashed while in chart mode and I didn’t think anything of it because I was done using it at the time.. I turned it off and that was that.. When I turned it on today, it doesn’t start up. It just stays on the boot screen… then after quite a while goes black, but the screen backlight is on. I’ve read that this is an issue with older firmware and requires it be repair. Hope that isn’t the case because of course I need it to work now!! Because I can’t boot it I don’t know what firmware is on it.. But I know I have updated it since purchase at some point.

Of course this happens on a Friday!!
