Title: 5uH LISN for Spectrum Analyzer DC EMC/EMI work
Post by: georges80 on March 17, 2014, 06:17:02 pm
I have a thread in the projects sub-forum, but not sure how many folk visit that forum.

Anyhow, the thread is:

https://www.eevblog.com/forum/projects/5uh-lisn-for-spectrum-analyzer-emcemi-work/ (https://www.eevblog.com/forum/projects/5uh-lisn-for-spectrum-analyzer-emcemi-work/)

and it's essentially a tekbox based design of their 5uH LISN. All the project details/tech info is in that thread.

I ran 20 blank boards and obviously have a bunch of extras. I've ordered and have ALL the components except the box and have them as kits for anyone that wants one. I've already soldered all the SMD parts to the boards so all that is needed is to wind the coils (I provide the wire) and solder them in place along with the other thruhole components. $30 per kit (basically covers my costs) + pack/ship cost.

I've run some tests of the unit and the performance is pretty decent all the way out to 200MHz. Dave has a quick review of the actual tekbox unit in one of his videos (emc pre-compliance testing) which shows the basic setup.

Anyhow, if you're interested, please visit the other thread and lots of details are there.

cheers,
george.

Hopefully a crosspost is not frowned upon - if so, sorry and feel free to have a mod delete.
