I see that the kickstarter is funded.      When will it be generally available?   We wanted to get another meter for the lab and wanted to give this one a go.

According to the last kickstarter update:

The component supply problem is basically solved, with UEi saying they can now ship 1,000 units by January 31 and the other 1,000 units by February 28, so we are ahead of schedule on those at this point. At least for many of the Johnny B. Goode level backers.

That means that the earliest realistic GA date could be around mid of March - April but Dave might have other plans for it.

From AmpHour podcast, Dave got the Christmas batch done.  However, manufacturer then reported that they will not have some parts until March or so.  So figure next batch will be mid spring 2018 if people keep asking for it.

It will be available when it's available. Sometime in March at the earliest.
