| 8482A vs N8482A |
| (1/1) |
| metebalci:
Is there a difference between these two other than the bandwidth (4.2 vs. 6 GHz) and the EEPROM in N8482A ? |
| R-1125F:
The N8482A stores the cal factors in EEPROM so that they do not need to be loaded manually. The 8482 does not. The N8482A is compatible with the E4418B. |
| metebalci:
So other than the ease of use regarding the cal factors, no performance or other difference within the same type of use (certainly not more than 4 GHz and most probably up to 2GHz) and with E4418B ? |
| R-1125F:
The dynamic range is different. It is a little better for the N8482A. The N8482A dynamic range is -35 dBm to +20 dBm and the 8482A is -30 dBm to +20 dBm. |
