Probes for Tektronix 2230

Hello - I am getting a Tektronix 2230 but it doesn't have any probes. Do I have to get the P6121 that it originally came with or will a P6100 work ok?  Those are cheap on eBay. I'm brand new to this, so thanks for the help!

P6100 should be fine.

A 3.5 digit 4.5 digit 5 digit 5.5 digit 6.5 digit 7.5 digit DMM is good enough for most people.

If the 2230 has readout a P6109 would be a good choice. If going to a cheep probe I would use double the scopes frequency P6200 type.
