You could try ordering from Amazon US -   I assume that there will be duty/VAT to pay on top.

Does not ship to United Kingdom.  Please check other sellers who may ship internationally.

If Dave does another Free Shipping promotion I'd get one

Looks like VAT will be payable on the import. Too much hassle for a case.

Can someone please ask Dave to get them stocked on Amazon UK?

Many Thanks.

Oh and love having a quality meter, discovered my old one was more than 10% out  :palm:

You can get a generic Brymen case from Welectron. Free shipping to the UK from Germany, no hassle with VAT or import duty inside the EU. The smaller case fits the BM235 fine.

Edit: Sorry, the free shipping only applies to more expensive items. I'm sure it won't cost very much though.

I can get a generic one delivered from China for 8 quid, but the whole reason I bought Dave's meter in the first place was to support him.

I have been watching the EEVblog videos for a few months now and have gained knowledge and been entertained so wanted to give a little back.

By buying his meter I knew I would get a quality product and help his channel.

I would like to buy the proper EEVblog case with clips and hanger and I'm sure I'm not the only one in the UK who would.

I can order it direct from Dave's web store but $20 shipping for a $25 item is a bit painful and it's going to take a while to get here.

Could someone that has Dave's "ear" point him to this thread for a response please.

Many thanks.

I just received a shiny new EEVblog meter from Amazon UK, but no listing for the case & clips etc.
Are they available in the UK?

I have not sent UK Amazon stock yet, hope to soon.

If not, whats the story with VAT and Import duty from Aus. for it.

No idea, sorry. I sell into 150+ countries and they are all different.

Thanks for the reply Dave, I'll keep a look out (or I might just order it direct :))

Not really aimed at you that one, but I checked and anything over 15 quid has 20% VAT added to it.

Anything over £135 (including postage, packaging and insurance) attracts customs duty (The rate depends on the type of goods and where they came from).

Thanks everyone for your help.  :-+

One case and clips ordered, thanks Dave.  :-+

Thanks Dave :(

Try these guys: https://www.welectron.com/Brymen-BM235-Multimeter_1

It's not the blue "Dave" version, but the regular red BM235.
But including the better test leads and the Brymen pouch, for €95 incl. VAT and shipping.

They also sell the pouch and other accessories separately, at reasonable prices, but probably with extra shipping cost.
