Cheap Harbor Freight probe holder

I am still thinking it needs some sort of stage to fine adjust the position and a cheap camera.   Machined the clamp and used a small section of Teflon to prevent damage to the probes.   $32 and you get some free vice grips and a dial indicator...   It uses the standard thread and will screw into their magnetic mount but it's just not stable enough and needs a wider base IMO.

Interesting!   I built something similar and I can say that the addition of a camera can really make it easy to drop the probe in the right place.
