Hi everyone,

First post here in this forum. (been reading for years obv).  >:D

Anyway, I really fucked up today. I recently bought a perfect condition Tektronix TDS 350 oscilloscope, and today while i was just poking around in the scope menus i accidentally removed the whole front panel software by clicking on "OK Erase Setup & Ref Memory"

reference from the manual here on page 99:

http://ecelabs.njit.edu/student_resources/tds320.pdf?fbclid=IwAR0IH8HTQbrhA_knptBkp25q1BKkoc0FNBehWnyATqBS47JsphjQYKT9sYY

Now the scope is essentially just acting like a bad version of a analog oscilloscope, i can see waveforms when sending signals into CH 1 and CH 2 but ALL menus are gone, cant access anything.

I need help guys, anyone experienced in reloading the firmware into these scopes? Or should i just give up on this and just buy a new scope and NEVER do this again.

Thanks

EDIT EDIT EDIT: I solved the problem. By removing a user setup the scope reverted to a setting where the display intensity and contrast was set to 0% somehow. Puh!!! the scope is still alive.
