The Amazon advert says "Intelligent Identification".
I should get one as I have often misjudged people to only later realise they are counts.
Perhaps this device will improve my assessment skills.
I approach the thinking of all of my posts using AI in the first instance. (Awkward Irregularity)

I ordered one. I couldn't be so lucky as to actually receive one with the printing error...but there is always hope.

That specific multimeter shall now be known as the "Jim Jefferies" model.

Especially useful for assessing senior company management.

I want to see the Amazon employee's reaction when processing the return for not matching the picture

Pictures are obvious 3D renders. So the mistake is by whoever textured them.

You can see on the customer pictures that the printing on the actual devices is fine.

What is the CAT rating of the meter? (Is it measured in P*ssy)  :-DMM

I don't see any videos or pictures with the typo. It is spelled correctly on all the customer pictures.

I said nope, means no misspell at all at the real photo or the video in that ad.

The meter arrived this afternoon. Says "counts", not the other word.

Fit and finish are surprisingly good. Has a nice heft and not a cheap hand feel.

Tested it on my toaster cord. AC current reading drifts 10% depending where in the clamp aperture the conductor is. I centered the conductor and kept it parallel to the axis of the clamp opening for measurements.

I compared it to a P3 "Kill-A-Watt" with true RMS measuring power meter rated 0.3% typ., 1% max AC current accuracy.
Manual here: http://www.p3international.com/manuals/p4400_manual.pdf

Toaster after warm-up:

Chinese clamp meter: 7.5 amps
Kill-A-Watt: 8.1 amps
So clamp meter looks 7.5% low

Stick a 10A10 diode in the cord

Chinese clamp meter: 4.6 amps
Kill-A-Watt: 5.5 amps
So clamp meter looks 16% low on an asymmetrical waveform of half-wave rectified AC sine.

Conclusion: Feels nice in the hand, but it's junk. (Not that I was expecting it to really be true RMS, as advertised.)

What a shocker ... on the other-hand, a 3D render typo sold 2 of them from this thread.
