Serial protocols like I2C/SPI decoders for Tek TDS7000 series?
« on: January 28, 2015, 04:30:55 pm »
Is it just me , or there is no Tek software or options to decode I2C/SPI buses on old hiend scopes like TDS7000 series?
I know, using 4GHz scope for 100kHz I2C is kinda over the top, but sometimes there is no other scope or LA near by to use.

Google finds me only 3rd party PGY-I2C decoder. I wonder if there are other options possible?

Maybe there is a similar API compared to the TLA700 series logic analyser?
There are small lies, big lies and then there is what is on the screen of your oscilloscope.
