How long does it take Rigol to respond to a firmware request?
« on: January 29, 2015, 01:12:18 am »
Any idea on the typical time for Rigol to send out the firmware link? Is it generic for the DS1004z series?

Well, I made a query through their online support and I had Rigol Europe and a Rigol engineer from China ask what I needed and sent through the firmware for my 1054z. All within 48Hrs.
Not easy, not hard, just need to be incentivised.

Rigol has already posted this before, but here's the 00.04.02.SP4 firmware for the DS/MS1000Z series for your convenience.

But to answer your question, day or two here in the US/CAN via the request form.

Perfect, thanks for the link. Seems Rigol responded very quickly but I missed it because I was looking at the wrong email account. :P

I've requested firmware twice over the last month for my DS2000 without a reply, and I know I'm getting their e-mails because of the automated confirmation.  I guess I'll try their technical support e-mail next.  The strange thing is, when I've requested firmware in the past, they usually respond within a day or two.  It's actually rather annoying to have firmware behind a wall like that.

Does anybody reading have the latest DS2000 firmware download link?

I found the thread with all the archived versions up to 03.01, but I missed this. Thanks!
