Aeroflex 2975 Communications Service Monitor

I would like to add an Aeroflex 2975 to the service bench but Aeroflex's service policy and repair pricing scares the Hell out of me.  Anecdotally, it seems they develop more issues than say an HP 8920A.  Many issues appear to be HDD related.  Feedback from experienced 2975 users is most welcome.
