Agilent 11974-60028 Mini Teardown

(1/1)

gamalot:
You may wonder what the hell Agilent 11974-60028 is, and yes, this was also my question. The documentation on the Keysight website won't tell you the details, I bought it from ebay for AU$70 just to see what's inside, and taking it apart was the only way to know.

It is just a 3-rail linear regulated power supply in a box made of aluminum alloy skeletons and sheets.

The small transformer and 7815/7915 are used for ±15V/0.2A output, the large transformer, LM723, and two TO-3 power transistors are used for 50V/0.6A output.

Nothing fancy, I'll probably use this box for a DIY project or something.
