Hi
I have started this new thread as a continuation of the thread buried here:
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/test-equipment-anonymous-(tea)-group-therapy-thread/msg5003065/#msg5003065
to make it easier to find for those with a similar question.

I wanted/needed digital probes for my "new" old HP 54645D oscilloscope.  Thanks to advice received, I purchased the probe, cable and grippers shown in the photos.    This all appears to be new old stock or, more likely, unused accessories.

This was a good score because these items were MUCH cheaper than the probe/cable unit specified for the scope.
The items I purchased plug together making it possible to do things like make custom probe sets.    This probe set adds a basic logic analyser capability to my modest inventory of test equipment.

Most importantly, I got the bag with the genuine Hewlett Packard brand name, essential for bragging rights.  None of this Agilent, Keysight rubbish.  Just true blue.
