Post by: Palmsquirrell on April 08, 2014, 11:51:45 am
Agilent/HP  CDMA Base station E6380A

I get the following : " AA memory backup batteries are low "

I do not have a owner's manual, but I did look at an online manual but have not found the instructions on how to replace the batteries.

Thanks

You need to improve your google skills.
From page 31 of the manual: http://www.home.agilent.com/upload/cmc_upload/All/6C06UGE6380-90016.pdf (http://www.home.agilent.com/upload/cmc_upload/All/6C06UGE6380-90016.pdf)

Do not use rechargeable batteries.
To change the AA batteries, use the following procedure:
1. Turn off power and unplug the Test Set.
2. Remove the six screws in the rear panel using a TX-15 TORX (R)
screwdriver.
3. Remove the rear cover.
4. Replace the AA batteries.
5. Replace and reconnect the rear panel. Dispose of used batteries
properly.

I looked at that same manual and saw batteries mentioned in the Index as being on page 31. So I went to page 31 on the pdf instead of page 31 on the actual manual.

I normally check the page number printed on the paper as it does not correspond to the page # on the PDF but this time I forgot all about it. |O

Thanks.
