Agilent MSO7000B Series - USB Printer suggestion please
« on: June 27, 2014, 09:17:21 am »
I just got my MSO7000B Series Oscilloscope and although it is an amazing machine, it can not print to my LAN printers.
The user guide suggest an USB printer

So, my question is, if anyone has a good experience with a good USB printer to be used on this scope?
Please give some suggestions of printers that work good.
May be also, if you have any bad experience with printers on the MSO7000B as well.

Thanks for any suggestions and help.

not sure if this helps you, but I just connect the scope to the intranet and configure it to print to a network printer (enter the IP of the printer).
Only trouble I've encountered is that the scope seems to default to the paper size 'letter' and I have to manually acknowledge on the printer that it prints with A4 instead. (I use an HP4100n laser and it displays an error indicating that a wrong paper format was requested)

EDIT: since you said that your scope cannot print to LAN (I assume the devices are both set to belong to the same subnet etc.) did you run into a similar problem of wrong paper size or does the scope not acknowledge finding the printer on the set IP?

Hello Neganur and thanks for the feedback.
Did you really get the Agilent MSO7000B series connected to the Network Printer?
On my MSO7054B it will only connect to an USB printer

My Agilent 2000 X Series scope had no problems, connecting to the LAN but it seems the 7000B Series can not do it.
