I’m bidding on eBay for an Agilent multimeter, and I just noticed that the seller did write this on the description:
"The voltage of the electronic device on display is 100 VAC, a Japanese product. If you use the voltage in your country, we recommend using a transformer."
Now, on the back of the MM (34401A) I see a lot of voltage listed and a small window with "100" inside : given I live in EU with 220V, should I retire from bidding or the seller was overzealous and the voltage can be easily switched to 220 ?
Anyone with experience on this ?
Edit : found MM manual. It seem that the fuse holder assembly can be rotated in order to show and match the proper voltage…what about the fuse itself…given the pic, it looks like it must not be replaced…
