Title: Almost famous scope CAM
Post by: wd5gnr on June 11, 2015, 03:13:14 pm
What do most people want from a Web Cam? A view of Paris? A pretty girl (or handsome guy)? Scenic vistas? Not you! You are an ENGINEER! You want to know: "What's Al's scope looking at right now?"

You will never have to wonder again!

My first reaction was 'Why?' but the site already answers this question  ;)

Well it changes to 0C sometimes, but the duty cycle of channel 2 is pretty variable.

For some reason I occasionally hang up and then the updates stop until I rekick it. Got to figure out why that is.

As for DDJ I was very sad to see it fold. I had read it nearly from the start and wrote for them since 1989 all the way to the end. I produced special issues, ran a section of one of her sister magazines (the long gone Web Techniques) and it broke my heart to see the old girl go.
