Title: Analogic (Data Precision) 6000 digitizer mainframe manuals?
Post by: 0culus on November 30, 2019, 06:28:32 pm
I'm in search of a manual for these units. I scored two of them very cheap at a surplus auction, along with a pair of model 620 digitizing plugin units. I'm pretty sure the mainframes work fine, but the units will only rarely trigger and I'm not sure if it's a problem with the user or the test equipment.  :-DD

The reason I picked them up is I already own a 2045 polynomial waveform generator...with the digitizer you can digitize arbitrary waveforms and play them back using the 2045...if you can get things working.

Anyone familiar with these?

this link gives just a small smidge of info...it is some app that programs the analogic 6000 (code listing & commands included) to interface with something for some data intefacing/collection

DTIC ADA244347: Interfacing the Analogic 6000A Waveform Analyzer to the XM21 Chemical Remote Sensor:

https://ia803102.us.archive.org/24/items/DTIC_ADA244347/DTIC_ADA244347.pdf

this link also has some codes (search for "analogic" in pdf)

https://apps.dtic.mil/dtic/tr/fulltext/u2/a252617.pdf

also note there was a data precision/analogic 6100  & analogic 6500 models as well (for more searches)

Reset: The Analogic can be reset by simultaneously pressing the (BLUE) F button and the RST button.
The DIR and PROG button when pressed together will allow the user to put the device in Local or Remote mode to verify its operation manually.

Thanks for the links! That reset combination is super handy...it seems to get the unit out of whatever state it's getting into where it won't trigger.

We had one of those setups in the early 90's...what a hoot, it was only around $40000 for our setup.  Of course our 300MHZ digital scope somewhere around $25000, maybe more.

HA! I scored a pair of them for $100...how the mighty have fallen...

Still hoping to track down a manual.
