ANENG ST212 DC/AC Clamp Meter

Today I got something cheap again.
An Aneng ST212.
Since there's nothing to be found in this forum except a rant about a defective device, I'll start a thread. Cheap things have a right to exist 

It's the cheapest AC/DC clamp meter I've found (<$20).
I'm really only interested in the DC current part (car).

I wasn't expecting much other than a rough overview of the current flowing.
The size and feel are quite pleasant for the price. The operation takes some getting used to.
I am positively surprised how well it works.
