HP 3852 calibration
« on: June 30, 2015, 05:52:33 am »
I picked-up a loaded 3852a and have been reading thru the docs, etc., playing with programming. Interesting box.  What I can't find is any information on how to calibrate either of the voltmeters, the 44701 integrating voltmeter specifically.  Any pointers?

The calibration info for the HP 44701A is included as part of the HP 3852A service manual document.
(a pdf file with over 700 pages)

(This was a bit confusing for me also, there is no separate document for cal and maintenance of this plug in)

The section that you want begins in chapter 6 at 6-23 for the performance tests, and 6-35 for the actual 44701A calibration procedure.
