Any experience with Sourcetronics ST1941 Bench Multimeter?

I am looking for a bech multimeter in the range of 300-400 usd.
I really don't want used units.
eventually my choices boiled down to one of those new chineese brands like UNI-T  or VICI (which I really not interested in) Or BK Precision.
but then I came across Sourcetronics ST1941.

what do thing about ST1941? any experience?

What product lines are they actually OEM for ?
Most of their scopes are Siglent rebrands.

For some products on alibaba for example, when you order a minimum amount of, you can tell them what name will be on it...
Sourcetronic or Abracadabra or Gollum was here...It´s always the same source.

so do you think that ST1941 is made by BK precision.
doesn't that mean the ST1941 must be of the same quality as BK precession?

The BK2831 and ST1941 look very much the same from both the pictures and description.  So they seem to come from the same factory - this may be BK or another unknown OEM.
I would expect essentially the same quality, maybe with slight difference in the calibration and warranty.
The price may vary a bit, depending on the shource. In current times a relevant point may be if it is available at all.

No, not at all.
It isn´t so that this meter for example is half as cheap as sourcetronic want to have it with their name on.
But it could be that this meter isn´t build by sourcetronic itself.
Or by BK.

I think Sourcetronics is rebranding the Tonghui brand, so much they barely change the model number ST vs. TH.

For sure Sourcetronics wants to appear as an european brand, while Tonghui, well everyone knows... But based on the little information available on Tonghui instruments they are fairly well built.

The important thing is have one of theses band / oem's or clones lolll   be calibrated, if needed .....
