Anyone familiar with the HP 8690B sweep osc. and 8698B plug in?

Buddy of mine gave me one of these, and I plan on using it. It seems to work, but the manuals that I have found do not cover the 8698B plug in, which covers 400khz to 110mhz.

Anyone with a user/service manual for the 8698b would be greatly appreciated.
