I gave my husband a LBO-508A oscilloscope ages ago, but the glass is cracked. We have been searching for a replacement.

When you say the glass is cracked do you mean the graticule over the face of the CRT? Or is the CRT itself cracked? If it's just the lens then you can probably cut something out of acrylic or polycarbonate, or just ignore the crack and use it as-is. If the crack is in the CRT, there's a good chance the same tube was used in a handful of similar scopes from the 1970s.

Either way if you want a replacement you are pretty much limited to finding another similar scope as a parts unit, the parts were custom made for that scope 45 years ago so it's not something you can just go out and buy. There may be "badge engineered" scopes of other brands that are identical to this one, I don't really know. Keep in mind this is a very old, rather basic 20MHz analog scope, you could easily spend more on shipping the parts than the whole scope is worth even if you find them for free.
