AOPUTTRIVER Digital Insulation Tester

I'm wondering if anyone has done a thorough analysis on one of these? I work with some RF that runs at ~2~3KV for B+, (yeah ok tubes!). I wanted something that would check the insulation status of some of the transformers that I have before hooking them up and ruining them. I would have preferred something at 10KV but I thought this was pretty good for the price. I tested it with my Fluke 85III and 6KV HV probe and can attest it gets to 5KV! I would like to hear some opinions especially if someone opened it up!
