Applicator tube for Loctite activator spray?
(1/1)
Faringdon:
Hi,
Anyone know where we can buy an applicator spray tube for Loctite 7649?
Its going all lover the place.
We are supergluing thermocouples to diodes.

I doubt it will be much more controllable through an applicator tube.  For pre-application, spray a little on a watch glass (or other small glass or glazed ceramic dish) and use a cotton Q-tip or a natural bristle artists brush to apply it *exactly* where you need it.

Don't you already have a thread about using Loctite 7649?

So far, you seem to have ignored those answers.  Why are you using that activator in your application?

Also, activators are usually applied like that rather than drenching the adhesive that's been applied.  Sometime, you apply a mist or drop, then wipe it off.  It doesn't take much.

As for getting a tube, buy another spray can of any lubricant and re-purpose the tube that is attached.
