| Are Rigol license keys automatically sent on purchase? |

Hi Team, I was just wondering if there is anyone out there that has purchased a Rigol Options key via their USA website, if so did you get the key straight away? or did it need someone to send it to you? I know if you purchase from a distributor outside the US, it can take up to a week to get the key sent. Thanks, Ross |

I wouldn't think so. Our experience since we are on the same piece of dirt as you are is unless we have licenses already in stock we must contact Siglent and order them then wait for their PI for us to pay and then a few days for the USD funds they want to be cleared into China banks, then another day or 2 before they get generated and finally emailed to us so to be emailed to the customer. Fast moving licenses we normally stock but the more obscure ones need be ordered and as you can see from the description above takes some mucking around and a good amount of time. Then if we run out then rather than place a special order for a couple or maybe just one if it's an oddball and less common license, we might instead wait for our next stock order and add it to that for just a single larger transaction that will invoke a smaller % of forex fees. At one time before free decode licenses were included in instruments, keeping up with option licensing was a real chore and sucked more cost in time than what profit there was in selling licenses. :palm: Anyways, I guess if you're buying Rigol Licenses from the US then MasTec NZ pricing or Ozzie Emona pricing (their supplier) is a bit steep. |

So for any out there who wants to know, it isn't instant, it takes up to a week to get them sent to you via email. |

Thanks for the info. I just sent them a scathing email since it's been over a week and all the serial decode trial licenses have expired.... which is the feature I bought the scope for. |
