I have tried three Flir E4 one by one from a famous online store,
They all work normally when first turning on, but after charging and restart, they all shows problem
The serial number are 63957xxx
Please help to check if your E4 also have this kind of problem!
The following step should reproduce the problem.
1)at room temperature 25degree,
2)turn on the camera and charging the camera for 15 mins with the bundled charger(charging warmup the camera faster than normal usage, for normal usage it may need 30min to reach the temperature for the problem to appear)
3)Turn off the camera,
4)Turn on the camera again and the problem appear.
The condition to reproduce the problem is (1)the camera warmup and (2)after restart.

soft reset the camera by long press the on button and restart
my E4 lacks sometimes after the cold start (shows no thermal image, only a real image) and need such a hard shutdown

hard reset(remove the battery) and soft reset is also tried. reset on the menu also all do not help
the problem is the same,
two camera has pattern on the screen which will never disappear if it shows
but one of the camera shows line across the screen, the line will disappear after the calibration halt for few second and appear again immediately.
this is the one with the line problem
it looks like an bad Flat Field Correction (FFC) after step (4)

I think, you tested the thre cameras out of the box (without resolution hack).
but one of the camera shows line across the screen, the line will disappear after the calibration halt for few second and appear again immediately.
