Battery resistance meter YR1035+ serial port mod + software
(1/1)
Sairus:
Hi there.
Recently I play with battery resistance meter YR1035 from YAOREA (pretty useful tool for its price). Then I disassemble it and find something interesting.
By design it have ability to communicate with PC by using UART-USB bridge but IC is not populated.
After some research I found that IC is CP2102 I ordered cheap module as parts source.
Then I take all unpopulated parts from module and instal it to my unit.
Success now YR1035 can connect to PC. After connecting it send data by itself.
To use this data I write simple software.
Features:
• Displaying of current readings.
• Ability to keep a log of received readings.
• Setting up the method of recording data in the log.
• Ability to save data to a CSV file.
• Setting up colors and OBS mode.
• Settings save after closing ap p lication
• Embedded documentation (russian and english)

Nice, thanks for sharing
Sairus:
Logging have three modes:
* All – all data is written.
* By time interval – recording at regular intervals (interval can be set in 1 second increments).
* Lock mode – one-time recording of stable values (you can enable a sound notification about successful recording in the table). Very useful if you need ranged bunch of bateries by voltage or internal resistance just measure then analyse log.
