Beckman Circuitmate DM45 DMM Manual or Specs?
« on: April 15, 2016, 01:43:37 am »
Hello everyone! While digging through some storage boxes I found an old DMM that is a Beckman Circuitmate DM45. I got it in the late 1980's (I think) and of course the manual is long gone. It still works and it got me wondering if a manual is available somewhere for it as I would like to see the specs on it. I know it's not anywhere close to a top of the line meter but just curious about it. I did a google search but it didn't provide me with anything for this model. I also checked ebay just to see if anyone was selling this model and again nothing. Also searched here and didn't find any mention of this model.

I would appreciate any help in finding the specs on this old beast.  :)   Thanks!

Wow... that took some digging it seems. I would assume (yes I know what that means) that the 0.5% vdc accuracy means it should be accurate to within 0.5% of the actual voltage when measuring DC. So if the actual voltage is 100vdc then the meter should display a value in the range of 99.5 - 100.5 volts. Again assuming the accuracy implies +/- of the actual voltage. If someone has more knowledge of this, please post with the details.   :)
