I am spending some time in Sweden, so thanks for the link.
But the prices seem rather high, may be comparable to eBay Germany on the high end.
-
The prices are in SEK not in €.
1SEK = 0.11€
-
Yep, SEK not euros. However, do keep in mind that the prices are excluding VAT, so you need to add 25% to the winning bid (unless you have a company and can deduct VAT) and there's also a stroke fee of 5% of the ex. VAT price, or minimum 100 SEK per item bought.

OOPS
Should have known that ....
Now the starting prices are actually low!

seems kind of hard to imposible without speaking swedish to make a bid. any suggestions, do they say somthing somewhere?

Do you happen to know what the origin of the equipment is? I was trying to find out from the labels on the equipment if this comes from KTH University or a research institute. Or maybe from a company that went bust? Trying to think which company that can be :)
It actually seems it is not from a company that went bust. Because it is under "inlämning" and not under "konkurs". But still it looks from a big company.
Does that auction site often come up with items like this?
What about other stuff on that auction site that pops up once in a while? e.g. vintage computers? :)
-
Intertek is at no 47, this adress is 45 (or was it other way around..). Intertek is big and if memory serves me has several adresses.
One item had a sticker "Nanoradio" on it, but they are at 27 or so on the same street... funny.
And then we have KTH and Ericsson in the same area.
-
Many cool stuff. But you have to get it at a specific day.
And who knows if it still works. That's why I wanted to figure out origin :)
-
Did you score anything on the auction? Was all equipment working as expected?
-
I wanted to get one of the many Keysight 34411A, but my friend in Stockholm forgot to bid in time.
It went away for under Euro 200.
Sometimes we win and sometimes we loose, I guess.
-
There is still 1 hour left on the auction.
The URL in the first post is not working anymore though, the new url is: http://www.pn-trading.se/?tabid=179&tabselect=inlamningsauktiontekniskutrustning (http://www.pn-trading.se/?tabid=179&tabselect=inlamningsauktiontekniskutrustning)

When I look at the bids for the Tektronix scopes, I believe that it wouldn't have been easy to score anything at a bargain price. Most bids went up very high. So that low bid for the device you were interested in, may be exceptional.
-
Looking at the finishing prices now as items are disappearing at the end of the auction I'd say there weren't any scores to be had.
Since the prices were excluding tax, 25%, and the 5% auction fee, and I assume you don't get any accessories like probes and stuff, you'd be better off buying brand new. Saw some of the 34411 go for around 800 euros. The 34401 went for between 300-400 euros (excluding the taxes and fees).

Pretty amusing to see a five-figure Rohde & Schwarz analyser connected with test leads having the crustiest and dodgiest 50-cent XLR connectors.
-
Can you send the link to that analyzer? =)

The marked 65k SEK isn't particularly cheap, given it only has the B2 and K4 options.
But I don't fully understand is the item sold or is the auction paused or something...?

I looked at the bid history. It says Rosenkranz. This name is very familiar to me.
It is a company specialized in selling second hand test gear, they are based in Germany, but do a lot of business with Sweden. I met them at an event in Lund, Sweden.
-
I always thought that Rosenkranz is a German company, dealing with used test equipment

Their prices usually are on the high end.
-
65kSEK =>7150€+VAT&shipping =>close to 10k€ for a used DC-250kHz FFT audio spectrum analyzer? Really?? And not even on Ebay. No wonder Rosenkranz has such crazy prices.

Yes, very expensive. Don't see how they can have many customers.
They even sell the Philips PE1542 power supply at quite a high price.
Typically that power supply sells on Ebay for around 75-90 EUR.
Guess how much it costs at Rosenkranz? (329 EUR - almost 5x times more expensive)

Why can't they just do "normal" prices for equipment that is more than 15-20 years old.
It seems age has no impact on their pricing :)

I'm only going to assume better part of their client base consists of companies whose internal policies forbid getting equipment from eBay or other auction sites. And if their engineers/technicians demand some piece of equipment no longer in production, they source it from there for cosmic prices but with, I'm guessing, extensive warranty policies.
-
I was monitoring the prices... crazy high on most items! The Tek scopes went for fantasy prices, and then you have to add the
25 % VAT and 5% commision fee.... 4ch 2Gs/s scope €1100 plus VAT, simpler 1Gs/s for €1k
HP voltmeters 34401 and 411 was well north of sanity too €500-1k....
Old power supplies, nice Powerbox tripple output, cost €350 new 20 years ago, sold for €190+VAT/commission. Analogue version for €120 and so on.
Old LPKF 91s fetched €1k+ not too bad if one needs this.
No sniping possible, as the auction was prolonged after last bid...
It seems this was old "Nano Radio" gone bust...
-
Maybe it's for people who don't know Ebay or Tradera :)
