Title: B&K 2709B still best meter for ~$100?

I actually had a 2709B and loved it.  Summer hit and I lost the urge to sit at my bench and tinker so I sold it and now regret it.
I finally bought some Probemaster 8008S. so probes aside, what meter now for around ~$100?  Dave's shootout videos are pretty old at this point so I'm wondering if anything else has emerged.

100% hobbyist and tinkerer.  I do probe residential mains sometimes but not frequently.
