BK Precision 2709B Manual Error?
« on: July 21, 2013, 12:32:51 am »
I recently bought a BK Precision 2709B multi-meter. I tried measuring a few capacitors, but couldn't get an accurate reading with the meter. The manual says:
Quote
Connect the red test lead to the “V Omega” jack and the black test lead to the “COM “jack.
If I do this, it doesn't seem to measure capacitance at all. However, if I connect the red lead to the left-most port that has the picture of the capacitor, it seems to work. What's the deal? Is it a misprint?

yes it is misprint
I don't want to be human! I want to see gamma rays, I want to hear X-rays, and I want to smell dark matter ...
I want to reach out with something other than these prehensile paws and feel the solar wind of a supernova flowing over me.
