Title: BK Precision 2709B Manual Error?
Post by: crab on July 21, 2013, 12:32:51 am
I recently bought a BK Precision 2709B multi-meter. I tried measuring a few capacitors, but couldn't get an accurate reading with the meter. The manual (https://www.bkprecision.com/downloads/manuals/en/2709B_manual.pdf) says:

Connect the red test lead to the “V Omega” jack and the black test lead to the “COM “jack.
If I do this, it doesn't seem to measure capacitance at all. However, if I connect the red lead to the left-most port that has the picture of the capacitor, it seems to work. What's the deal? Is it a misprint?
