B&K Precision PR-40 scope probe any good?
« on: September 24, 2019, 06:39:56 am »
I have a decent pair of Tek scope probes which I am using on both my old T922 and the new Siglent.  But recently I unearthed a pair of BK Precision PR-40 which I must have bought sometime in the late 80s at a hamfest.  I haven't been able to find much info on them, and consequently have no real knowledge of how good they are.  They have a 1x / 10x switch but no contact to switch the scope mode, so that has to be done manually.  Are they worth keeping?  I mostly do audio, and seldom venture into the MHz region, so I suspect they'd be fine - but again, no specs.
