Picoscope at tequipment...
« on: August 05, 2017, 12:55:12 am »
They sent me their clearance ad this morning - if anyone is looking for a 2 channel picoscope, they marked down a single 2207B 27%.  I put it in my cart to test if it would let me also do the eevblog discount and it took another 6% off bringing the price down to 340 something.  I've got this model and it tests quite a bit better than its 70 MHz rating and it is the least expensive model with the 1 GSa/s sample rate.  It is a good deal for anyone looking for one of these; they are not often discounted much.

Which also run the latest software. I got a 200MHz model for £300, with admittedly a low sample rate.

Yes, that is something cool about Pico's for sure!

The best ones in the 2000 series have a good balance of sample rate, deep memory, and bandwidth)

Some stand out to me as being the best value:

2206B - the cheapest 2 channel that gives decent performance (50 MHz, 32M memory, 500MSa/s, 2 channels).

2207B - the one I mentioned above that there is ONE ON SALE - (70 MHz, 64M memory, 1GSa/s, 2 channels).  I've got this model and its bandwidth much better than 70MHz.

2406B - the cheapest 4 channel that gives decent performance (50 MHz, 32M memory, 1GSa/s, 4 channels)

Note that the 2406B is given the faster 1 GSa/s sample rate even though the two channel model is only 500 MSa/s.

But with ETS. What software allows? 20GSa/s?
Also can use it as MSO with external DAC.
