Bare with me.
In my part of the woods, thermopro preheat is the best. Like nothing better, all the pros use it. iPhone repair, laptop repair, video card repair. If you need BGA work, this is the way to go. We talking about people who use Leica microscopes, in other words wallet has some depth to it.
These are individually made, not mass produced, after you order one, you have to wait while they build it for you. English website - https://termopro.ru/en/soldering_products/pcb_preheaters/
Russian website - https://termopro.ru/catalog/termostoly_podogreva_pechatnyx_p/termostoly_serii_np/
English is kinda basic and outdated, you might need a VPN.
Basically question is this. Everyone is using these around here, like I said. But is there something better?
I'm asking this Q because I'm moving to the U.S.A. :-+
I can't order one of these from the U.S.A., the only option is to buy it now and take it with me.
I'll be doing notebook and iPhone repairs, BGA work is a must. I hate doing BGA without the bottom, especially laptop GPUs and CPUs.
At my work I use thermopro. At home I don't have a bottom. This one was on my must gets, but now question is if there are better things that are accessible to me?
