Title: building an insulation tester?

So high voltages are easy to generate using a flyback transformer. Has anyone seen any kind of home made high voltage insulation tester? It seems easy enough   :box:.

also june 2010 of silicon chip has an insulation meter inside, that has been copied by epe mag on june 2012 issue
