Title: Buying a Used MSOX 3000' series - Any changes to Motherboard?
Post by: jstarr on April 07, 2014, 07:38:05 pm
Hello,

I would like to buy a used MSOX 3000 series either 200 or 350 Mhz.  I have a few to pick from but they are all made in 2010 or 2011.  Does anyone know if there have been any important motherboard design/manufacturing issues that I should watch out for... maybe not buying a scope older than 1-2 years old??

thanks
john

This would probably be a good question to ask Agilent Tech Support. If residing in the US, the Agilent Toll Free Phone Number is: 800 829-4444, with hours 8:00 am - 8:00 pm ET, Mon - Fri.

And don't forget that the DSOX3100 can now be hacked all the way to a MSOX3200, and the DSOX3350 up to a MSOX3500. Of course there is no easy way to hack the logic probes, but they have been selling for about $300 US a set on eBay.
