Title: Buying Amazon equipment for use in Australia
Post by: Zalgar on April 19, 2015, 05:16:53 am
On Dave's amazon store there is a couple pieces of equipment that I would like to acquire, its much cheaper on amazon, even when converted from USD to AUD.
Im wondering if the scopes and power supplies can be used with australian outlets, or do I need an adapter/different cord/ a converter of some sort for use.
Cheers.

I should probably add, the devices are:
Rigol DS1054Z
BK Precision 1670A

Both will work, just remember to change the line input setting on the BK Precision to 230V, the manual says the switch is on the bottom of the unit. You'll need new kettle cords if you don't have any spare, but they're only a few bucks each.
