I picked up some vintage BWD catalogues from back in the day. They have specs of many different models so I scanned them for your enjoyment.  :D

Thanks, brings back memories of my youth and spending my hard earning allowance to buy my 1st scope (pretty sure it was the single channel 509B). I remember using it to build my 1st computer (8080A based) all point to point wiring all hand made including front panel with one led per address line and data line (deposit/examine/run switches etc etc). All this back in late 1976 during summer break after my 1st year of uni.

Used that scope for a bunch of years and didn't "upgrade" until moving to work in the US and sold the scope to a mate back in Perth.

It's amazing how crude it was, but it certainly taught me a lot.

I have one of the 1MHz BWD sine/square generators still back in Perth squirreled away in my old electronics 'cupboard' :)

cheers,
george.

Thanks for this sean0118.  :-+
I've had a couple of BWD instruments and without manuals they are tricky to fix.
Even the manuals weren't always accurate due to model revisions.

You have provided me with long sought after basic specs for the 170 Wavemaker.

Thanks guys, I updated the original post with the no7 catalogue that includes a lift out on the 880 Power Scope. I also added some advertisements from old magazines I had.

 ;)

I'd like to add a link to some manuals I found a little while ago.
Having pointed Kev to the catalogue in the OP here, he was quite gratefull for it.  :-+

He is happy to have his site linked for some BWD and other manuals:

@ sean0118
As BWD manuals are hard to find online, would you consider editing this thread topic to indicate a link to manuals.
