Tektronix SG5030 leveling head
« on: January 02, 2020, 12:03:04 pm »
Hi,

I need a leveling head for my SG5030 and the current price levels on EBay are out of my budget. Does anyone have a scrapped leveling head for the SG5030 they would be willing to donate?

Thanks!

Hi...I share your pain!

I designed a new leveling head (SMA/BNC) for the Tektronix SG 504 Sig gen. that has done well over the last couple years. Sold dozens to instrument labs and companies globally. Most recently to a Sonar development Company in MiddleSex, UK and a electronics lab in Belgium.

I am designing a general purpose Vpeak digital display which will work with any BNC/SMA RF Sig. Gen. This will display a precision Vpeak (0.5 to 5.5V) at any desired frequency so that the signal can be used for calibration of O'Scopes, Spectrum analyzers, NF analyzers, RF Communications gear etc.

Would you be interested in such a device, (2.5" x 1" x1") ?
The accuracy will be equal to or better than the SG5030.

I ended up biting the bullet and bought one on eBay.
