Hi folks -
I finally bit the bullet and upgraded my aging Fluke 92 Scopemeter to a new (to me) '125. I need a rugged scope for diagnosing three phase VFDs, rotary encoders, bus links, etc.
Anyway the 125 was the best I could afford, and it's perfect for my needs, but it uses these goofy Fluke shielded banana connections. I have a set of the STL120 insulated leads, good for 600V CAT-3 but they're 1:1 and limited to 12MHz. Fluke sells a nice set, VPS41 (that require the use of a banana to bnc adaptor) but about $150 a pop. They are part of the retail package but weren't included in mine. Wondering if anyone out there in the industrial realm has seen any alternatives? 50+MHz CAT-III+ 600V? By looks alone it appears they may be rebranded Pomonas? Anyway I've paid more for probes and certainly wouldn't sacrifice safety/quality for price, but thought I would ask while the wallet cools off a bit.
Second thing - anyone have any thoughts on where to source free-hanging/inline connectors to mate to the Flukes shielded bananas? I'd like to make a few test adaptors/breakout cables and it would be nice to be able to connect directly (without dealing with the BNC adaptors).
Cheers,
Jamie

I don't know who OEM's the STL120 leads/ probes but the VPS41's look very similar to the VPS210 10:1 probes I have on a have a Fluke 196C.
The OEM for those is actually Multi Contact / Staubli they are the Isoprobe IV series.

Very helpful, thanks - another eBay keyword to keep an eye on!

I'm nots sure where you are located but in Australia even at RS components the Multi Contact ones are less than half the price of the Fluke branded ones and tend to have more accessories with them.
