hello folks, I'm the extremely satisfied new owner of a DMM6500, which has blown away my expectations in every way but exactly one: the dang diode/continuity beeper is *weird*. it has a really long latch time, which was off putting at first but I'm used to it, but the frequency/volume of the tone blends in with the rest of the ambient noise in my shop to the point that I can hardly hear it. if I could turn the volume up a bit, or change it to a higher pitch, it would be much easier to hear, but I can't find anything anywhere about this.

I have not found any such option, and the reference manual I have close (which isn't the newest) mentions it not being adjustable. The TSP beeper.beep() command and SCPI equivalent will play different durations and frequencies though, so the hardware supports it.

if anyone lands here looking for a solution, user simsys.pl 's script solves every issue I have with the meter, but causes the meter to lock up after one or two runs. for some people it works flawlessly, for others, it crashes. my meter was built july '22. I'm going to play around with the script and see if I can get it working without crashing
