Title: Cheap all-rounder DMM in 2018 - Brymen 257s or something newer?
Post by: Warhawk on September 25, 2018, 09:46:06 am
I am just about to buy a couple of DMMs for our corporate lab. It should be just a universal (basic) everyday DMM. I have good experience with Brymen 257s. Is it still a good choice in 2018?

PS: We already have agilents and flukes there but we seldom use higher specs. Also, I am looking for a budget option this time.

The Brymen BM257s is 100EUR. I don't think you can get cheaper than that and still maintain the quality & safety/certification aspects which are important considering you are getting these for the corporate lab.
