SDS6204A - double triggering on oscilloscope
« on: February 06, 2023, 08:34:16 pm »
Hi

Long term lurker - need help with a newly purchased Siglent SDS6204A. First time I've ever captured two waveforms in a single screen. Is this a feature or a bug?

Is there a workaround?

Interesting, what is it ?

I see AC coupled with 20 MHz BW filter engaged and scope timebase in segmented acquisition mode, why for all ?
Can you do a Default and check the waveform again with normal settings please.

Best here to use the blue Print button to grab a PNG screenshot to USB and use Attachments to add the image as a thumbnail.

Of course it works that way because you have set it up to work that way.

You have (continuously repeating) sequence acquisition enabled in this image! Do you know what it is?

When you turn the reverse gear on in your car, do you call the help desk when you are surprised that your car is going backwards even though the windshield is forward. Your question is on the same level. Just had to say, but it's kinder than it looks because you can't see my face.

As already mentioned, hit "default" and start over.
Then don't start doing things/functions you haven't figured out first. Feel free to explore what the different functions are and how they work and how their use is applied for different purposes.
RTFM
I drive a LEC (low el. consumption) BEV car. Smoke exhaust pipes - go to museum. In Finland quite all electric power is made using nuclear, wind, solar and water.

Wises must compel the mad barbarians to stop their crimes against humanity. Where have the wises gone?
